As someone who lives in the DevOps trenches, Gilfoyle speaks to my soul — that deadpan nihilism and quiet satisfaction when your infrastructure holds while everyone else panics. But it's Erlich Bachman who steals every scene he's in; TJ Miller's unhinged, narcissistic, surprisingly vulnerable portrayal is comedic gold. The genius of this show is that it never stops being hilarious across six seasons while somehow making you care about a bunch of deeply flawed nerds building a compression algorithm. My only gripe is the finale — it didn't quite land after such a stellar run. Still, one of the funniest and most rewatchable shows ever made.
